The Sims 1, 2 & 3; Which is Worth it?

I am a huge Sims fan since The Sims 1 came out! I have been playing The Sims since my sister first introduced me to the game in 2004. I grew heavily addicted to TS1 lol, leaving a record breaking 32 hours straight on the game!!! Addicted much? But not anymore, that’s when I was a kid, now I have kids lol.

Sims, short for simulation, was designed by EA games. It was meant to give everyone the freedom of creating a world in which you could do whatever you wanted with your Sim people! The Sims has come a long way though, making me wonder…

With all these new Sims games out,

I always find myself thinking that out of The Sims 1, 2 & 3, which is worth it?

Yes TS4 is not here, I have no played that yet. However hang on tight…

My answer will be revealed below!

The Sims 1 and The Sims Deluxe Edition:

I don’t want to sit here and bore you to death, lol, so here are some short vids that give an explanation to the game and what The Sims is! This game, as described in the video, gives you the option of creating a life of chaos or peace! Hang out with friends, burn your kitchen down, start a family, anything your heart desires hahaha.

Before you say this game is lame, this game was one of the first Sims to come out and truly fun to play! The music in this game touches a special spot in many simmers (people who play the Sims such as me)hearts. ♥♥

The Sims 2 and expansion packs:

I literally own almost all the expansion packs for this game! It was the most heartwarming one to play, therefore YES, making TS2 my favorite of all Sims to play. The neighborhoods felt so real to me that, honestly, I actually felt like a part of each family I played or created! The story lines of each family give you a special connection to each character in the game. The Sims 2 seasons made the game even more heartwarming to play, with all four seasons to enjoy.

The Sims 3 and expansion packs:

The Sims 3 brought everyone the freedom of an open world where you can parade your totally unique Sim around. Yes I have to admit, the customization is beyond amazing. You can customize everything from clothes, furniture, Sims, everything! However, the game is fun to play, but the constant freezing and crashing (happening to me at least) is pretty annoying. This is why I barely play the game anymore. You make a family, are going up on your career, to deal with your whole family and game erased due to bugs? No thanks. However, for those who don’t have to deal with that, there are pretty unique things in the game. In the time my game didn’t crash (its not the computer, trust me), I enjoyed playing the guitar and learning new songs, cruising through the town, and going to the beach with friends!

Here’s a little bonus for all you simmers out there, a special trailer of The evolution of The Sims 1 through 4, enjoy♥.

To answer the question of which is worth it, definitely the Sims 2. The media and overall visual of The Sims 3 is amazing, but the heartwarming feeling of The Sims 2 is definitely one that warms every simmers heart.♥If you have any questions or comments, feel free to write or comment to Linda below, thank you!:)
