Get Into The Holiday Spirit!

Ooooh do you feel that chill in the air? We don’t here in Orlando lol, I’m still wearing shorts and tank tops! I know hate hate hate ¬†ūüėČ However for those of you feeling the chill of December, the countdown begins everyone, lets get into the holiday spirit!

1. The spirit of Christmas

Read books and get into the holiday spirit with stories of baby Jesus and Bethlehem. I love reading those stories and watching movies of the birth of Christ. It always gets me in the Christmas spirit. My all time favorite christmas movie is how the Grinch stole Christmas‚ô• Of course there are many other movies and I’ll write a post about that tomorrow!

2. Give Instead of Receiving

As a kid, I believed Christmas was about presents and was pretty selfish believe it or not. But not that long ago, I’ve found the reward of Christmas to be giving instead of receiving. When you give, you feel really good about it. And the best gift you can give anyone, is your time and actually caring about people.

3. Sing Christmas Tunes

Find your favorite tunes and turn it up! I like to listen to Christmas stations in the car to get in the Holiday spirit. Even go caroling, but if you can’t sing, beware lol jk pic above :’D!!!

4. Got a Fireplace in your house?

Light it up to feel the warmth of the fire along with hot cocoa with marshmallows, mmh yummy! If not, just check out this virtual one with Christmas songs!! I love decorating to Christmas music too, it really makes the Christmas feeling come alive.
