5 Fun Fall Activities for Families!

Hello once again everyone! I bring you 5 fun fall activities for families to enjoy! Leaves are changing into a beautiful orange red; night is falling faster as days grow shorter for All Hallows eve. You go to stores and local supermarkets and begin seeing decorations being set up to welcome the fall. Why not have some of your own fall fun with your family? Check out my must to do list below!

 1. Make up spooky or silly stories pass the flashlight around

Have your family sit in a circle outdoors or indoors, dim the lights and let the story telling begin. Have one person begin the story. When that person is done with their part, the flashlight then gets passed to the next person adding on to the story. It’s a great way to learn patience, sharing, and taking turns. Also a great way to get those imagination juices flowing!

2. Bake a fall welcoming treat in the kitchen

There’s nothing better than the smell of fresh baked goods in the fall air! Gather your family round the table and summon up good ideas for treats. Create your own or go with a family recipe, either way it’s going to be delicious!

3. Decorate for the fall!

I love decorating for the fall! This has to be one of my favorites on this list! I love gathering different things I either created or bought to decorate in or outdoors. It really helps to bring the fall spirit in!

4. Go search for a nice big pumpkin together!

Gather up the family and go pumpkin hunting for a nice temporary addition to the family. Do as you please with your pumpkin. Dress it, carve it, eat it (yes that’s mean but pumpkin pie is really good), or anything else you have in mind! Even sitting it out on your front porch with a scarf is a cute little decoration.

5. Arts and crafts time!

Bring on the arts and crafts! You can literally make anything for the fall with anything in your own home! You don’t have to have fancy decorations to make cool things. Like for example: Did you know cotton balls and white ripped up grocery bags make cool ghosts? Ahhhh Linda has many tricks up her sleeves, will show you how very soon

To wrap it up…
