Avocado Firming Facial Mask

There’s nothing wrong with showing yourself a little tender loving care right? Every once in a while it’s not only good to pamper yourself, but to do so with a  good natural facial mask! Anything from fruits to vegetables to honey can be used, or eaten lol. I put together my top 5 Firming Facial Masks and how they benefit your skin. Before applying these natural homemade masks, test a patch on your face to make sure these facial masks do not cause allergic reactions. Make sure to rinse your face with cool water to remove all makeup and facial products from your face, pat dry and begin!

I usually leave my masks on for 20-30 minutes before rinsing it off, but unless it starts irritating your face for any odd reason, leave it on as long as you’d like! But if you fall asleep with it, prepare to wash the sheets the next day -_-. Remember… As yummy as these masks are, try not to eat them!

1. Avocado Facial Mask

Truly wonderful when used as an anti aging mask, smells delicious and feels nice and cool. This wonderful FRUIT, yes not vegetable, FRUIT is full of vitamin A and C. Avocado facial masks really cleans your pores when you wash it off! And your left with a wonderful fragrance to last the rest of the day. Begin by splitting the avocado in two, spoon out one half and stick it in a bowl and mix it together with a fork till creamy consistency, and gently apply it to your face using your fingers.

2. Honey Facial Mask

It’s just, like, honey mmh…. that’s right honey is a great firming facial mask. Both great tasting as well as a delicious alluring fragrance, this sticky situation will have your face feeling smooth and renewed for days! Just apply the honey to your face like you would lotion, but be careful! It drips, a lot, so apply small amounts till it feels firm on your face, then carry on applying more till your face is evenly coated.

3. Oatmeal Facial Mask

As nutritious as this meal is, you’d be surprised at what it can do for your face! Oatmeal masks are great for people with sensitive skin, and serves well with wonderful exfoliation purposes. When mixed with a spoonful of honey, oatmeal sticks even better to skin and hardens slightly allowing it to stay on for as long as you want till you’re ready to wash it off!

4.Cucumber Facial Mask

I love cucumbers! They are so good in my salad, but also for my eyes!  Take 1 cucumber, chop into two thin slices and place those two over your closed eyes (after next step). For the rest of the cucumber throw it in a blender then mix in some oatmeal or honey and apply on the rest of your face. Say goodbye to dark circles!

5. Ripened Banana Paste Facial Mask

With all the potassium this fruit carries it wouldn’t surprise me that it’s beneficial for your face too! This fruit naturally leaves your face feeling moisturized and softer. I usually grab a banana that has brown spots on the outside, they smell sweet when you open it and are great for smoothies my son loves. I mash it in a bowl, and apply it on my face, mmh it smells so good and my skin is very smooth afterwards and smells good enough to eat!

 

To wrap it up… 

Natural firming facial masks are so yummy and you don’t have to worry about unnatural things being on your face. You’re the creator of your own paste, you know how it’s made and you know what’s going on your face. These masks can be used 2 to 3 times a week or whenever you remember lol.
