Beauty Remedies With Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil Beauty Secrets

Pure Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is the best natural product I have ever smelled. It’s literally like splitting an actual coconut and getting that island smell!

I’m from an island (Dominican Republic) were coconut oil is used as a natural remedy for hair growth, skin softener, dark spots corrector, stretchmarks reducer ( I know another one!) and it’s even cooked in meals. I recently began a new full body and hair treatment that I want to share with you today.

What you’ll need:

  1. Castor oil
  2. Coconut oil
  3. Jojoba oil
  4. Sweet almond oil
  5. Dudu Osun
  6. Shea butter
  7. A small bowl
  8. A spoon
  9. Shorts and a sports bra

Here is the way I do it every week:

  1. Take all four of the oils and put them inside of a small bowl, you won’t need much.
  2.  Mix 2 spoons of castor oil, jojoba oil, and sweet almond oil, and add 4 spoons of coconut oil.
  3. Mix it with the same spoon until you see it blend as one.
  4.  I’d recommend putting a sports bra and some shorts with this, you will get glossy.
  5.  Begin to massage it onto your body.
  6. Walk around the house doing your daily things (but don’t lie down, you’ll ruin your bed lol).
  7. After about 3 hours take a shower and rinse it off with Dudu Osun (African Black soap).
  8. Apply Shea Butter on stretchmarks; your skin will absorb the Shea.

Follow these steps every day and your skin will have an amazing glow afterwards, you’ll instantly see and feel a difference! If  you can’t find the time to do the full regiment at least shower with the Dudu Osun black soap and then apply Shea Butter. After about 3-6 weeks you’ll notice your stretchmarks will began to rapidly fade away. :)

The same rules apply to the hair remedy:

  1. Apply the mix onto dry hair from roots to ends, massage on for a good 5 to 10 minutes.
  2. Put a shower cap on for about an hour
  3. Then rinse with Baba De Caracol intensive conditioner and apply the leave in by Baba De Caracol.

The leave in stays in your hair so you don’t have to rinse it out, The coconut smell is so strong that you should still be able to smell it in your hair.

To wrap it up…

You can style your hair with any style you like (I wait till its halfway dry before I mess with it, unless it’s a wet hairdo). I apply a little coconut oil (a nickels worth) and massage it in.
